This consultation offers ambulant care to adults with psychic, diagnostic and / or therapeutic problems. Patients can be monitored during consultation or can be refered to the specialised consultations mood disturbances or ADHD. If necessary we can find the most suitable psychotherapeutic and / or psychiatric care from outside the UZ Brussel.

Consultation mood disturbances

 Dr. C. Baeken

The specialised consultation mood disturbances focusses on the diagnosis and treatment of depressif en bipolar disturbances.
For people with a bipolar disturbance (manic-depressive psychosis)the consultant uses integrated care packages.
With this we give the opportunity to participate in a psycho-educational group program (The CopeBipolar project).

Consultation ADHD

The specialised consultation ADHD focusses on the diagnosis and treatment of adults with AD(H)D and associated problems.

During a first consultation we examine if further examination is needed and a couple of appointments for research are beeing planned.

As soon as we have made a diagnosis, patients can get help from farmacptherapeutic and psychotherapeutic treatment. When a treatment at the policlinic psychiatry UZ Brussel isn't possible or advisable, we offer advice on psychotherapeutic and / or psychiatric care outside the UZ Brussel
