What do we do?
The Gastroenterology Department at UZ Brussel serves patients with liver diseases and gastro-intestinal disorders.
The department has grown significantly in recent years. Currently more than 2,000 patients are admitted and more than 7,000 endoscopies are conducted each year. This is in addition to handling about 8,500 consultations per year.
