Topaz Day Centre – a home away from home for the seriously ill
Many people suffering from a life-threatening disease can receive equal care or even benefit from receiving care in a familiar environment, rather than in hospital. However, sitting endlessly at home between four walls can be hard to shoulder. Likewise, the responsibility of continuous care can sometimes be overburdening for family and friends. This is where TOPAZ comes in, a homely day centre where the seriously ill will find support among other patients, volunteer helpers and professional clinical consultants.

univ-hospitals.be is the website of the Council of University Hospitals of Belgium (RUZB). RUZB is the nominative association of the 7 Belgian university hospitals.
