Perioperative medical care and anaesthesia for surgical procedures
The provision of perioperative medical care and anaesthesia during surgical procedures (24/7): this involves the provision of both complete (inhalation, intravenous and combined) and neuraxial (epidural, subarachnoid or combined) anaesthetic techniques or peripheral nerve blocks (upper, lower limbs, trunk, neck, and head) depending on the surgical procedure.
The choice of anaesthetic is made by the consulting Anaesthesiologist. He or she will put forward a technique based not only on their experience but also in conformity with the patient’s medical profile and the surgeon’s requirements.
