Post Anaesthesia Care Unit, PACU

The immediate postoperative care in the Post Anaesthesia Care Unit (PACU). PACU
Is a specific area for observation/treatment of all patients following anaesthesia/surgery, supported by specialised nursing. A dedicated care unit is equipped to deal with patients facing a heightened risk of bleeding or with compromised organ functionality (heart, lung, kidney …) or who require aggressive pain management or parenteral fluid administration.

Visitor hours: daily from 6.30 7 p.m.
