Scheutbos Hospital
Geriatric patients will often require medical rehabilitation after the acute phase of their disease, before being allowed home. UZ Brussel’s Geriatrics Department comprises a Sub-acute Geriatrics Division, located within the Scheutbos Hospital. This hospital is situated within the green belt between St. Agatha Berchem en St. Jans Molenbeek. It has 120 hospital beds (91 G- and 29 Sp-Psychogeriatric beds) which allow for long-term treatment.
