Laser Techniques

Laser technology for the treatment of skin diseases has greatly evolved during the last ten years. For example, vein lasers are used for the treatment of Port-wine stains, Facial Telangiectasia, Rosacea and Poikiloderma.

Benign epidermal pigmented lesions and tattoos are treated with a Pigment Laser to destroy the follicular melamine.
Hirsutism and Hypertrichosis (excess of hair) can also be treated with a special laser.

Ablative Laser Resurfacing ensures an improvement by at least 50% of the skin tonus and diminishes the depth of wrinkles and scars. This treatment is used in cases where a Dermabrasion is necessary (the shaving of the skin).
