Research

Thanks to the financial support of UZ Brussel and other institutions, such as FWO, fundamental research is conducted into the skin’s barrier function. This research should lead to a better understanding and the best possible treatment of genetic disorders, such as Ichtyoses and other prevalent skin diseases, such as Psoriasis and Atopic Dermatitis.
