Finding your way IN the UZ
Please note the following four principles:
- the hospital is divided into zones,

each hospital zone has its own colour and its own letter. The routes are only indicated on level 0,

the routes to the zones correspond with the colour and letter of each zone,

you can fi nd a detailed chart showing the zones and their respective colours and letters at the hospital’s main entrances.
If in doubt, do not hesitate to ask a hospital staff member. You can also read our leaflet, which guides you through the hospital's signposts. You can read it by clicking here.
- For admission to hospital: adult patients should first register at the admissions desk located at the entrance to zone A (white) on the ground floor.
- For a consultation (adults): patients should first register at the admissions desk located at the entrance to zone C (yellow) on level -1.
- For a consultation at the children’s hospital: patients should first register at the admissions desk on the ground floor in zone F (blue).
- For a consultation at the centre for reproductive medicine: patients should first register at the admissions desk in zone F (blue).
- For a consultation at the centre for cardiovascular disease: patients should first register at the admissions desk in zone B (green). The desk is on the first floor of the 'Louis Tielemans Paviljoen' (entree near the main entrance of the hospital - zone A/witte zone).

For a first-time consultation at the oncology department: patients should register at the admissions desk in zone C (yellow)
And also...
- Never go straight to a waiting room, always first register at an admissions desk.
- Smoking is strictly forbidden throughout the hospital.
- The hospital is equipped with CCTV to ensure your safety.
