Sleep unit
For many humans, sleeping is a natural and automatic process, but for some people this is problematic. Should you be confronted with sleep issues which do not improve after a few weeks, you are advised to seek help. There are several kinds of sleep disorders that can lead to disturbances of the night’s rest and therefore negatively influence daily life. Common symptoms are frequent snoring, difficulties falling or staying asleep, awakening tired, excessive sleepiness or tiredness during the day, concentration issues, etc.
The sleep unit allows you to undergo a thorough analysis of your sleep, following which the results are reviewed with you. A treatment plan is established in line with the results of your sleep test. The sleep unit also provides a specific training programme to deal with Insomnia: ‘Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I)'.
