What do we do?

Patients will never enter into direct contact with an anatomopathologist. Anamopathologists are sent tissue specimens or fluids (e.g. a wart, polyp or biopsy) by the family doctor. These tissues and cells are investigated under a microscope. The anatomopathologist will analyse any changes in these tissues and cells to confirm a diagnosis, before communicating his findings to the family doctor or specialist.
