Making Your First Appointment
We appreciate your interest in UZ Brussel. An international care coordinator, who is used to working with patients from your country, will be happy to personally assist with the process of requesting your first appointment.
UZ Brussel has long welcomed international patients and their families, providing invaluable personal assistance and free services that allow patients to focus their energy on what is most important: getting better.
Medical Enquiries and Appointments
Please send us your enquiries about our medical services using the contact form. Please note that we cannot deal with your enquiry unless you complete and submit the form in French, English, or Dutch.
Important:We require copies of the following medical documents to enable us to provide adequate treatment recommendations and a cost estimate:
· Mandatory: latest medical report
· Imaging test results
· Laboratory results
· Oncology patients: histology report, previous treatment plans/radiation treatment
The medical documents have to be:
· in German or English,
· up-to-date (not older than 3 months),
· informative (for example: current status of the patient, last treatment, principal diagnosis and additional conditions) and
· concise - please understand that we cannot handle excessively detailed documents.
Requesting an appointment
We will seek as far as possible to arrange an appointment on a convenient date for you.
To initiate a request, please fill out the form below. We will respond with practical information within 48 hours. If you submit your request on a holiday or Friday afternoon through Sunday, we will respond by the end of the next business day. If you do not hear from us within this timeframe, have questions, or would prefer to make an appointment by phone, please call +32 2 474 91 20 and we will be happy to assist you.
Please note that we are unable to confirm an appointment before the amount stated on the cost estimate has been paid.
