About Prof. em. Maryse Bonduelle

Prof .em. Maryse Bonduelle graduated as a paediatrician at the Free University of Brussels and since 2018 has also been qualified as a clinical geneticist. Since 1984 she has been working in the Centre for medical genetics of the UZ Brussel and was head of department between 2010-2018. Her current interest is oncogenetic consultation. Scientifically she has great interest in the ‘outcome of pregnancies achieved with assisted fertility techniques’ and wrote a thesis on this in 2003: ‘ICSI related risk for the children’. She is currently an adviser in the Centre for Medical Genetics, mainly for external consultations in the ZNA Middelheim hospital.
