About Dr. Kim Moubax

Dr Kim Moubax is an additional doctor of Gastroenterology at UZ Brussel. She also works at AZ Groeninge Kortrijk as a general gastroenterologist. Kim Moubax graduated as a doctor at the Catholic University of Leuven in 2009. She completed her final three speciality years to become a gastroenterologist at UZ Brussel. Here she trained in endoscopic ultrasound, ERCP and invasive endoscopy. In 2016-2017, she also followed a course in endo-ultrasound with Professor Barthet in Marseille, where she obtained her international diploma in endoscopic ultrasound. In addition, Dr Kim Moubax carries out scientific research into the treatment of patients with IBD (Crohn’s disease and colitis ulcerosa). She takes part in trials to compare various therapies. Dr Kim Moubax is also the author of several scientific articles in national and international journals on various areas of gastroenterology. Dr Kim Moubax is a member of the Board of Directors of the Flemish Gastroenterology Association (VVGE) and she is a member of the Belgian IBD Research Group (BIRD).
