Payment

The invoice for medical imaging examinations will be sent to your home address. The NIHDI rates apply.

You have to pay within 20 days of receipt of the invoice. You can do so by bank transfer, using the POM app or at the payment desk in the hospital. If this payment deadline is exceeded, an additional charge is made under the compensation clause.

Rates

Most radiologists working at UZ Brussel are not conventioned. This means that physicians do not sign on the convention with the health insurance funds. An additional administrative fee at your expense is charged:

• X-ray (RX): administrative cost is €5.
• Echography: administrative cost is €10.

If you have an increased allowance or palliative statute, you are protected against paying increased rates and will not pay a supplement.
