Visiting hours paediatric ward
Day admission (surgery, treatment or examination)
In case of day admission, we ask that only 1 parent be present. Bringing other visitors, such as the other parent(s) or siblings, can only be done in consultation with the ward nursing staff.
Multi-day admission
Non-Covid room
- 1 parent (or patient companion) can spend the night. Parents (or patient companions) can alternate.
- The other parent (or patient companion) can visit between 7am and 8pm.
- Other visitors are permitted from 2 p.m. until 6.30 pm. Please limit visitors to a maximum of 4 visitors at the same time in the room.
Covid room
- 1 parent (or patient companion) is admitted and may stay the night. If necessary, parents (or patient companions) can alternate but preferably avoid this as much as possible.
- Brothers, sisters, and other visitors are not permitted.
- Do not use the toilet in the patient’s room during your visit.
- Do not bring any drinks or food.
Ward-specific visiting hours
- Neonatal ward and paediatric intensive care ward: stricter rules may apply depending on the patient’s condition. This will be discussed with the parents on the ward.
- Maternity: the partner and brother(s) and/or sister(s) are always welcome. A maximum of 2 additional visitors at the same time applies. Try to avoid long visits (maximum one hour).
